We have just received our first new van since changing our logo so have decided to use the new artwork on it. Hope you like the results, we certainly do!

Steve and Carolyn are off to Highgrove today for the AGM of the Highgrove Royal Warrant Holders association. Followed this evening by the first Highgrove Association Banquet also at Highgrove in the Orchard room. We will be listening for comments on the decoration of the toilets, which Steve is doing at the moment!

We were very pleased today to receive notification that we have been shortlisted for the PDA national trophy awards for the 5th year running. We are hoping that it will be second time lucky for our work at St.Peters Catholic Church, Gloucester, as we won the Small Contractors Trophy with our entry for a different part of the church in 2010.

We are very pleased to come runner up in the photo competition for this months The Decorator magazine. They said ‘it was a close runner up for our cover this issue, good quality photograph and even better quality workmanship.’ The photo is of St.Peters Church Sanctuary ceiling, which is the job we have entered in this years PDA trophy awards competition.

Steve, Carolyn, Peter and Margaret once again attended the Royal Warrant Holders Banquet. However this time it was held in the awe inspiring Guildhall in The City of London. The guest speaker was HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, who delivered an interesting and witty speech.

The evening was rounded off with fellow warrant holders, including the National President, in a nearby pub!

The Painting and Decorating Association awarded P and S Timbrell with a Highly Commended for our entry of Holy Trinity Church, Stroud in their annual Premier Trophy Awards.

We have received a piece of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding cake form HRH The Prince of Wales. Shall we eat it?

We are informed that our entry into this year’s PDA trophy awards is a prize winner, with the actual places being announced at the trophy awards luncheon on June 9th.

Steve is asked to paint some large planters by the staff at Highgrove. These are next seen in Westminster Abbey on the Royal Wedding day with very large trees inside!

The Highrove Association is formed and P & S Timbrell Decorators are asked to be the first featured company on the association website.
